Deviant Art, a place for art... not any more. it's turned into a place for all of your junk files. including photos that belong on facebook/ myspace/ twitter, random terrible sketches, porn. You name it, it's on here. there is no way to control this problem.
     I feel that this site has become a major joke, with "critiques" like "cool," "awesome," "beautiful," and especially my favorite on any photo of a naked girl/woman "the look of this angle is so sensual and the lighting is so beautiful." (meaning "damn girl you look so hot I want to slather up some barbeque on that ass and take you. thanks for showing me your privates now I don't have to go to a porn site to get my fix.")
     The good work is very few compared to the shitty junk in this place. very rarely do i find myself faving things from the front page. maybe one every 4 months. i feel that every time i go to a deviation it's either anime or if it's not I say "ART!" in a sarcastic manner.
     I have been an artist for 21 years now and I know the difference between art and porn and bullshit.
     I will now be posting my stuff on my blog spot account. once I actually have stuff on there, I'll post up a link but for now. I wont be taking down my work, you guys can still enjoy it. but I wont be posting up anything else. it's been a good 4 years... but the past 2 years all i've done was complain about the site and look at the front page for laughs.
